Form School Feng Shui

We choose the environments we live and work in for very specific reasons. We may not always be conscious of why we do that, but we do. Certain colours, shapes, or sounds, or the way those things interact with one another, all create specific responses, reactions, and feelings within us.

We have personal preferences for climate, types of land, shapes of houses, even cars. Some of us prefer to be near the water, others in the desert. Some people like large, spacious houses; others prefer small, cozy, little homes.

Subconsciously, we are in constant interaction with everything around us, whether it be living things, or inanimate objects. We may not always be aware of these ongoing relationships, but they are ever-present. From the pile of papers on our desk, to the trees outside our window, there is constant communication, on some level, with all things in our surrounding environment.

The intention in using feng shui is to create a harmonious flow of chi (energy), into and around the home or business. Placement, colour, and other objects are used to command the movement of chi.

Chi, which is the vital life force energy, carries our fortunate blessings for health, wealth, happiness and success, into the home, and /or business.

In the home feng shui is used to increase prosperity, improve physical and mental health, and bring about, or enhance, marriage, career, wealth, family well-being, health, support and communication. Feng Shui can be used to inspire creativity, and help us develop our character. It is also used to support our children's well being, and even help them focus and concentrate better for learning and doing homework. Feng shui can create stable foundations for family and friendship.

In the business feng shui brings greater wealth and good fortune, while enhancing relationships between co-workers. With good "chi" flowing through the business, relationships and reputation stay healthy. Feng Shui can enhance business networking, create new opportunities for growth and solidify a good reputation.
