She has successfully consulted hundreds of homes and businesses. She has helped clients with creating spaces and environments that positively influences health, wealth and relationships. Sharon is also the founder and Director of the Canadian Schools of Feng Shui. Thousands of students of the Canadian Schools of Feng Shui including Realtors, Stagers, Massage Therapists, and Interior Designers have been taught the techniques Sharon Hay has developed and honed for the North American lifestyle, cultures and environments.

When consulting homes, Sharon uses the goals of the occupants to make suggestions of how to arrange the home. For example, If the occupants are a newlywed couple or wish to start a new family, the suggestions would relate to an energy that is conducive to moving forward, career advancement, family growth, new beginnings and opportunities. If the occupant's goals are to retire soon or they are already in retirement then the energy would need to be generally more calm, serene and laid back.

When consulting offices or business settings, Sharon uses the goals of the client to make suggestions of how to create a type of working environment that will be conducive to motivate and increase productivity, profits, sales, creativity, morale and company recognition, while at the same time decrease stress and absenteeism.

In all consultations, the client will receive written recommendations of furniture and object placement, colour schemes, and lighting for the interior and landscaping ideas for the exterior. Feng Shui is also used for timing of projects, personal energy pattern analysis of clients and creating a harmonious energy flow throughout.
